Abraham's Oasis

The other day I had the chance to go tour a place called "Abraham's Oasis." It is a place that has some rare and relatively lush surroundings, and tradition holds that it was a stopping place for Abraham when he left the land of Ur. While speculation is fun, the reality is that this is a beautiful island of plants, fruit, and animal life (fish, birds, turtles, hyenas, and small wildcats, etc.) amid a sea of sand.

  2. yes, they all came from my camera. Quite the stark contrast from what I am used to seeing around here.
